Al-Nassr Beat Neftchi 3–1 as Ronaldo Gets on the Scoresheet

According to Associated Press (AP), Saudi Arabia’s Civil Defense sent a security alert to residents approximately 15 minutes before the scheduled kick-off. As a result, the teams had to wait before taking the field.

Following the delay, the match was played at Al-Awwal Park in Riyadh.
Angelo Gabriel put the hosts ahead in the 33rd minute. Cristiano Ronaldo doubled Al-Nassr’s lead three minutes before half-time.

In the second half, Neftchi’s Alisher Odilov pulled a goal back for the Uzbek side. However, an own goal by Neftchi defender Anvarjon Gofurov in the 78th minute secured a 3–1 victory for the Saudi club.
