One of them was reported to open under the "Swissôtel Tashkent" brand following reconstruction at the "Miran International" hotel site. The renovation work was scheduled to be completed in the third quarter of 2023, with the hotel set to begin operations. However, reconstruction efforts are still ongoing in the building.
It is worth noting that on October 1 of this year, a fire also broke out in the building of Tashkent State Agrarian University. However, neither the regional governor nor the Minister of Emergency Situations, Major General Abdulla Quldoshev, were present on-site to monitor the fire.
