The chairman of the Khanabad city court committed a crime

According to the report, a meeting of the Supreme Judicial Council was held today, May 12, during which the Prosecutor General’s submission regarding the Chairman of the Criminal Court of Khanabad city in Andijan region, Yu.E., was discussed. 

During the session, a proposal was submitted to hold the chairman criminally liable under the relevant parts of Articles 168 and 28,211 of the Criminal Code. As a result, based on the Council’s conclusion, consent was given to prosecute Yu.E., and his judicial authority was officially revoked.

"In accordance with the requirements of investigative secrecy and the presumption of innocence, no additional details will be disclosed. It should be noted that most of the reports circulating on social media regarding this matter are exaggerated, and all circumstances will be clarified through an official investigation," the statement said.
